Writing your book is the first step, but there's other steps needed to get your book professionally published:
Editing/Proofreading - Because you understand your book doesn't mean your audience will. Our editing/proofreading service makes sure all spelling and grammar and makes sure there are no gaps or inconsistences. We can usually edit and proofread in one pass, but we sometimes suggest another pass to ensure everything is found.
Formatting - Your book needs to look like a book. We will format your chapters, line breaks, and other parts of the book so it looks totally professional.
Cover Design - We will create a colorful, attractive book cover that will draw attention and resize it as necessary to meet the requirements of different publishing platforms.
Publishing - We publish on Amazon and IngramSpark. We will discuss your goals with you and publish to the platform(s) that will provide the best results.
Editing and proofreading is determined by a 750-900 word sample edit and total word count (starting at $700)
Formatting is determined by total word count and complexity of manuscript (s tarting at $400)
Cover design starts at $350 for original full cover and $50 extra for each resizing. KDP front cover is free with design package.
Publishing setup starts at $400.

Tina did a fabulous job editing a manuscript for me. She not only corrected grammar and punctuation but also gave me ideas to make the plot stronger and fill in time gaps. And she finished the project ahead of schedule!

Here are the answers of some frequently asked questions. If you have additional questions regarding any of our services, feel free to contact us, and we'll be in touch to answer your questions as quickly as we can!
Q: How long does a typical book project take?
A: The amount of time a book project takes varies a lot from person to person. If you're prepared with a good idea of the outcome you want, we can potentially have the draft of your book completed within 3-6 months. If you're still figuring things out....which is perfectly okay....it could take over a year.
Q: If you ghostwrite my book, who owns the copyright?
A: When the book is complete and paid in full, you are the sole owner of the copyright, just as though you wrote it on your own.
Q: How do you price editing and formatting?
A: We provide editing and formatting quotes based on a 750-900 word editing sample and the total word count. This allows you to see our editing style so you'll know if it agrees with you and for us to provide an accurate quote. For the formatting cost, we also need to know about anything that could potentially make the formatting more diffciult, such as including images or charts or including an index or footnotes/endnotes.
Q: Can you start with a partially written manuscript?
A: We can jump in and help you from wherever you currently are. If you've been working on a manuscript but have become stuck or you no longer have time to devote to it, we can help you get it done.
Q: Do you work with fiction as well as non-fiction?
A: Our ghostwriting service is primarily for coaches, consultants, and small business owners as well as for works of non-fiction. For fiction, we do provide guided self-writing as well as all of our other services that lead up to publishing including editing/proofreading, formatting, book cover design, and publishing on Amazon and IngramSpark.
Q: What does your process look like from first call to published book?
A: We first discuss your project and determine your needs. Then we plot a path moving forward that includes planning the process, creating a draft of your manuscript, revising and editing it, formatting it, creating a book cover, and finally publishing it. Many of these services have separate prices so you can determine what your needs are and pay for only the help you need.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: As of right now, we do not offer payment plans, but we don't want that to stop you from getting your book written and published. We offer a "pay as you go" option, where we break down your needs into bite-sized "chunks", and you pay for one chunk before starting on the next. This way, you don't have to make a hefty payment all at once.
